Care Assistants – Care Centre - Aberdeen - £6.16ph - £7.02ph SVQ Qualification dependent

Our client is currently seeking exceptional Care Assistants to work within their safe, friendly and supporting environment. As a Care Assistant you will be active in performing many of the tasks relating to clients care support.  The centre residents will turn to you for help and support as they face the difficulties of their daily life.  You will be trained to be understanding and sensitive to your resident’s emotional and physical needs.  In time you will become a Key Worker so that you always have one person with whom you look after.

Your responsibilities will include the highest possible levels of care and supporting/assisting clients when required with washing, toileting, dressing/undressing – ensuring comfort and dignity.

It is very important for our client that as a Care Assistant you reassure and do all that you can to make sure your residents are safe and comfortable in their new surroundings – physical, emotional and spiritual care is key.

You will be required to display a genuine interest in working within a caring environment, be able to communicate effectively at all levels and a team player.

Relevant Vocational qualifications that you have achieved or working towards is very desirable – along with similar working experience.
